Tribute to Dr. Manuel Murta
He died on the last Sunday of the year, December 31, 2023, at age 71. He was one of the pioneers in the implementation of telemedicine in the Alentejo region in the 1990s after working in close collaboration with primary health care throughout the Alentejo and the Algarve regions and accompanying hundreds of patients throughout his career.
